Dr. Ghazi AlkhatibHashemite University, Zarqa, Jordan

Dr. Ghazi Alkhatib has a DBA in 1984 from Mississippi State University majoring in Business Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis, and minoring in Accounting and Computer Science.  Since then he established a career in teaching, consulting, training, and professional development in the US, the Gulf and Jordan.  His research encompasses paper publications in second tier indexing, and conferences proceedings spanning almost all continents at prestigious conferences sponsored by IEEE, ACM, and Association of Information Systems.  His research interests include integration of business and information technologies, such as knowledge management, decision support system, expert system, simulation, portal technology, workflow management, web services, agent technologies, data mining, business intelligence, eGovernment/services, data bases, analysis and design, creative thinking processes, team organization, software engineering integrating agile methods with CMMI, and software metrics.  Dr. Alkhatib is the founder and EiC since 2006 of the International Journal of IT and Web Engineering indexed by Web of Science Emerging Science Citation Index (ESCI) of Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters).  He is currently at the Hashemite University, Zarqa, Jordan. 

SATISH KUMAR SHARMA
Information Technology Project Manager, USA


Mr. Sharma holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, and two master’s degrees, one in information technology (MSc-IT) with specialization in software engineering from University of Liverpool, UK and the second degree in business administration (MBA) with concentration in corporate innovation from Post University, USA. To his credit, he has a rich diversified professional experience of over 50 years in mechanical, electrical, aeronautical engineering and in information technology. He has had the honor of serving in Ministry of Defense, Government of India for over 27 years and having opted for an voluntary retirement as Senior Scientific Officer, served in private sector in India in senior positions including General Manager in the private sector before moving to the United States of America where he joined IBM in 1998 and has been working since then also for AT&T and Verizon in telecom sector in the field of information technology project management.

 

Mr. Sharma is registered with Engineering Council, UK as an incorporated Engineer (IEng), life member of British Computer Society (BCS), UK with an award of Chartered Information Technology Professional from BCS, and holds memberships from Royal Aeronautical Society, UK; Institute of Engineering and Technology, UK; American Society for Quality, USA; Project Management Institute, USA; Electrical and Electronics Engineers, USA and Agile Alliance, USA. He holds certification in project management from Villanova University and also is a certified scrum master. Mr. Sharma is a citizen of USA and has been deeply involved in religious and social activities having been living in Tampa, FL, USA since 1998.  


LALIT GARG

Senior Lecturer, University of Malta, Malta (Europe)


Lalit Garg is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Information Systems at the University of Malta, Malta. He is also an honorary lecturer at the University Of Liverpool, UK. He has also worked as a researcher at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and at the University of Ulster, UK. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Ulster, Coleraine, U.K., in 2010, his postgraduate in information technology from the ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM), Gwalior, India. 

 

He was nominated for the Operational Research Society Doctoral Prize "Most Distinguished Body of Research leading to the Award of a Doctorate in the field of OR".  He got the 2009 award of best paper published in Faculty Research Conference by Research Graduate School, University of Ulster, UK. He was also awarded research studentship in Healthcare Modelling to carry out research studies leading to award of the degree of philosophy in the faculty of computing and engineering at University of Ulster, UK.
